Al Sharif International Freight Services was established in 1991 as a 100% locally owned and operated company, specialized in Heavy haulage and special transportation projects which includes BAPCO, ALBA, Bana Gas, LNG, EWA, AL Dhur Power & Water plant, Bahrain Steel and ASRY in the kingdom of Bharain.
Being the iconic partnership ( Joint Venture) with Abnormal Load Engineering (ALE) now operating as one company under the MAMMOET brand (www.mammoet.com) in the Kingdom of Bahrain, we can offer the full range of specialist transport and supervision of all type of cargo including Heavy and Abnormal cargo by doing Project FEED Study, Technical evaluation, Route Survey, Risk Analysis and Installation using Jacking & Skidding methods or cranage.

Al Sharif Group’s journey dates back to the 1890s. From a humble beginning our visionary leader has led us to where we are today, as a leader in the shipping industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Al Sharif family has laid the foundation for Al Sharif Shipping Services which still remain as
one of the oldest shipping companies in Bahrain and have played a prominent role in the Kingdom’s burgeoning trade industry.
Later in 1957 the Group was commercially established as a full-fledged Liner Shipping Agency which diversified into ocean and airfreight forwarding, and other allied services which is the backbone of the industry. Meticulous management skills, hard work and dedication coupled with experienced professionals across generations have ensured that we continue to deliver superior services to our principals and customers.

Our industry is an ocean of change and as the saying goes “Change is the only Constant”. Yes, the shipping industry is dynamic in nature and in today’s business scenario there is no place for complacency. Adaptability to changing global trends is the key, which is why we very often find many others struggle, who fail to see the changes around them and adapt quickly.
The world has indeed become much smaller today than when we debuted a century ago. The entire globe is well connected with ocean, air and land transport networks. Technology is king and has played a key role in seamless delivery of cargo to and from anywhere in the world.
